Day 3: Nearo to Patagonia

AZT Mile 39 to 51
(12 miles).

Today was a “nearo” — a small mileage day into a town. And I was happy for both the small miles and the town!

When I woke up I got a good look at where we set up in the waning light last night.

Less poop here

Butterfingers headed out before me so I had the morning to myself. The path was mostly gentle downhill and the weather was perfect.

Mount Wrightson
Freckled Milkvetch
Wheeler Sotol
They are working on a new route here
Ocotillo
Silverleaf nightshade fruits
Kundle Mountain
Yay town food!

We are staying at an AirBnB tonight and heading out in the morning after a nice big breakfast.

Urban Dilemma
Town gives, and town takes
Filling our bellies with food
But also our packs!
