Glacier Basin Campground to Sprague Lake and back
(2 miles, +200/-200 feet).

We had to drive back early today to return the RV, but not before an early morning return to Sprague Lake.

And guess what! ZoZo got her moose!

He was with a lady friend.

And from across the distance we could also hear an elk bugling. Turns out, he was also with a lady friend. But more importantly, he was blocking our exit. So we spent a half hour watching him meander along.

In addition to seeing a young man who was thrilled to get a close shot of the elk bugling, we also saw another species engaging in mating rituals.
