Alpine Ridge Trail, et al.

Alpine Ridge Trail, Adams Falls Trail, and some random alpine cross country
(3 miles, +600/-600 feet).

Today was more a car-touring day than a hiking day, but some of our short hikes were notable.  First there was a short hike to 12,000 feet from the Alpine Visitor Center.

We drove down to Grand Lake to see if we could find some moose.

Then the rest of the day we chased really bad weather back across the divide.  At one point we got out and hiked a quarter mile to an alpine saddle.

And of course we had to celebrate the day with dinner at the Fall River Visitor Center.
