Cottonwood Lakes Trail
(6 miles, +200/-1,200 feet).

One last day in Paradise.

We agreed to meet at the car at 3.

And then UltraShuffle, Half Cookie, and I took one last tour of the meadows to the east of the Cottonwood Lakes.

Cottonwood Lakes is one of my favorite areas in the Sierra. I was just there on my way into Miter Basin last week. I might go back in a few weeks, too! The shooting stars were numerous in the backcountry, too, as were the hummingbird moths. Cheers!

Awesome! Would love to coordinate a trip some time. I’m getting ready to attempt the Colorado Trail. We’ll see!
