Cibbets Flat Campground (Mile 33) to Burnt Rancheria Campground (Mile 41)
(10 miles, +1,800/-500 feet).

MixMaster joined me for my hike to finish up Section A. We dropped bikes at Mont Laguna and brought a resupply for Skyler and Miri (who I hiked with yesterday). We then drove back to Cibbets Flat to start the hike.

It was even windier than the day before, and as we climbed we found more and more snow on trail from a recent storm.

As it turns out, Skyler and Miri had left us two messages in the snow.

It was absolutely gorgeous and less windy once we got into the woods.

When we were done, we found our bikes and flew down the abandoned Kitchen Creek Road back to the car. Section A complete!
